Presentation

The course reflect on the concepts of multidisciplinary collaborative practices, as well as their materialization through different tools and methodologies necessary for their practical development.

Learning Goals

_ To envisage strategies and methodologies of multidisciplinary collaborative practices, in the artistic and social spheres.
_ Develop skills of observation and critical discursive analysis;
_ Develop scientific reasoning and argumentation tools;
_ Perspective the dimension of the composition of multidisciplinary collaborative practices, according to different artistic movements and aesthetic legacies, especially in contemporary art;
_ Knowing and knowing how to apply principles of theories and practices of some of the artistic movements and artists of reference that develop these practices and methodologies.
_ Knowing how to delimit observation parameters capable of carrying out work of a multidisciplinary and collaborative nature;
_ Apply the concepts studied in the dramatic creation and to argue the design options;
_ Develop practical methodologies for materializing the concepts explored in the practice of individual and collaborative composition.

Contents

Conceptual theoretical exposition of founding principles of multidisciplinary composition and collaborative practices, with greater focus on contemporary arts;
_ Reference concepts defined in theories and/or systems of composition legacies, mostly from the 20th century.
_ Observation and discussion of artistic works in order to visualize the different proposals for the materialization of these concepts;
_ Preparation of small exercises of critical analysis of practices and creative methodologies with these characteristics by the students;
_ Creation of small performative works by the students who translate the assimilation of different concepts and practices.
_ Preparation of a written work/report that demonstrates the ability to document the practical work, as well as its argumentation and conceptual theoretical framework.


Teaching Methods

The methods to be used are: expository, analytical, discursive and experimental and exploratory practice.

Artistic transversal research, multidisciplinary and collaborative.

Exhibition of the content of practical and theoretical sessions with iconographic material - drawings, photographs and audiovisual material.
Assessment is continuous. Presence effective.
Elements of assessment:
- Participation and critical analysis - 40%;
- Final report of the discipline and documentation of the practice and options argumentation - 30%
- Practical exercises and - 30%
