Sustainable Development Goals

Learning Goals

1. Provide specific knowledge of Cytology, Embryology, Developmental Biology, Plant Anatomy and
histology, enabling: the understanding of structural phenomena related to other disciplines (Botany and
Physiology) and the development of studies and research in the area of histological anatomy.
2. Develop the capacity of interpretation, reflection and realization of works in the field of plant anatomy
and histology.
3. Develop the ability to search for information based on the use of new communication technologies and
information.
4. Developing English language skills applied to the study of plant anatomy and histology.

Teaching Methods

Exposure structured. Note the final preparations. Performing practical work, presentation and discussion.
Analysis and discussion of research articles.
Assessment: Theoretical Exam, Practical Exam and Theoretical and Practical Appeal Exam. Verification tests of 4 scientific articles.
Pricing for practical assessments is 20 points.
The calibration tests, 4 tests, have a quotation of 20 values each.
Final grade of the gauging tests = (1st test + 2nd test + 3rd test + 4th test) / 4
Final grade = (Theoretical grade + Practice grade + Assessment tests grade) / 3
