It is intended with this curricular unit of Contemporary Problems of Public International Law to acquire the
necessary knowledge for understanding the functioning of the current international legal framework on post-
September 11, identifying not only the core areas of public international law as well as major international
crises that have come to mark.

Teaching Methods

In the methodological framework is used four pedagogical models to consolidate the knowledge and enhance
the motivation of learners:
1. Theoretical analysis;
2. Practical sessions to discuss issues of development;
3. Exploration of subjects through reading texts and documents;
4. Teacher support in the consolidation of the study.
In the assessment one practical initiation of work on research is made between 5000 and 6000 words.
