Teaching Methods

The syllabus is addressed from the perspective of health communication process inter-pretation and developing interventions based on it, seeking to link theory and practice in the health context. Theoretical classes are centered on the exposition/reflection of the assumptions, procedures and behaviors of each stages of health communication process. In theoretical-practical classes, behavioral and communication skills and techniques in health are worked on; through the analysis of examples of communication and health behaviors, debate and brainstorming, and the performance of role-play exercises. In ad-dition to individual exercises, it is proposed to develop group work around the syllabus, with presentation and discussion in a large group.
The assessment comprises: individual written test (40%); individual exercises (30%); group work (30%).
