This course has as its major purpose to present a methodological framework for understanding the organization and management activities, using the tools of Organizational Behavior (OB).
Objetives:
O1Provide students with the fundamental knowledge, from the OB in order to build a holistic and dynamic perspective of organization.
O2 Studying the different variables of the OB on the perspective of major schools of thought.
O3 Provide the students with a behavioral/humanist perspective because it is believed to be the most effective way to achieve sustainable success for business and for the organization.
O4 Promoting research capacity and critical analysis of the students regarding the understanding of organizational phenomena.
Skills:
Promote critical thinking and citizenship.
Promote oral and written communication.
The ability to encourage teamwork.
Present instruments, sources and references that encourage the research capacity of students.

Teaching Methods

Association of the presentation of concepts and theoretical approaches (for expository method) to characterize and reflect on experiences, active participation by students. Presentation and analysis of case studies to validate the various models and theories of organizational behavior.
The process of continuous evaluation of this course consists of two types of components (two blocks) which together will converge to the achievement of the research line "The influence of the knowledge society in the behavior of organizations" 1. One individual written work will consist of a critical analysis of Case Study, 40%. 2) Development of a group written work to be presented, 60% and consist in: i) study and comparative analysis of two papers, ii) in-depth discussion of the most important aspects analyzed in i), by reference to the contents of the program modules.
