Presentation

The curricular unit intends that the students, through the accomplishment of a field work, know the daily life, the agendas and the projects of several organizations linked to the cultural heritage.

Contents

The Uc. aims to provide students with daily contact with the agendas and projects of local organizations
and institutions working in different action contexts in the field of cultural heritage (management,
protection, enhancement promotion and dissemination of various stakeholders). For two or three weeks
the students, as critical observers, gather information and follow the work of these institutions and bodies,
integrating their teams, with the aim of drawing up a report of activities .
Thus, during the semester, the work of the Uc. is organized as follows:
A)
- Identification and choice of subjects and institutions where students desenvovlerão practical work
- Design work plan (objectives and methodology) appropriate to each case
B)
- Implementation of the plan with the teacher of. the uc.
C) Presentation of the report and self-evaluation

Teaching Methods

The assessment should rely on:
- Documented critical report of activities.
This is a way to provide a direct contact with institutions, requirements and also a way of working toward
goals in a multidisciplinary environment. Who teaches needs to monitory the activity. The report should be
discussed with UC jury after getting a writing appreciation from the host institution about the student
performance.
