Teaching Methods

The methodology adopted is based on the approach to inquiry-based learning (IBL), and it includes activities developed by students such as reading and searching information, exploring programming environments and robotics, including the creation of applications for children and the creation of proposals for work and activities in the context of the introduction of computing in elementary education.
The methodology adopted requires special attention of the students to the frequency of classes (see article 97 of the RAUE).

Assessment

I. Continuous Assessment Regime
Assessment takes place throughout the entire period of classes, with the issuance of constructive feedback on activities to be carried out at various moments. For the calculation of the grade, the following components will be considered: P1) Elaboration of a research paper and literature review, with oral presentation, to be carried out in a group (20% of the final grade); P2) Critical evaluation of a didactic proposal with digital technologies (40% of the final grade); P3) Programming project for children (40% of the final grade).

II. Final Assessment Regime Assessment is based on the completion of a theoretical-practical evaluation test, including the elaboration and justification of a didactic proposal for the exploration of programming and educational robotics environments. The grade obtained in the work carried out will weigh 100% in the final grade.
