Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
1. Knowing and apply the fundamental methodological principles related to the teaching of the various contents of physical education (in pre-school and in the 1st cycle of basic education).
2. Knowing hierarchy the complexity of motor tasks adapting them to different levels of perceptual-motor performance;
3. Knowing and understand the factors of pedagogical effectiveness in the teaching of physical education;
4. Knowing the structure of a physical education lesson and its didactic functions;
5. Knowing the typical forms of organization of teaching in physical education;
6. Knowing and master some skills of educational intervention in the various critical moments of a physical education lesson (information, organization and practice);
7. Developing skills of planning, assessment and intervention in simulated teaching situation and in real situation of education.
8. Developing skills of observation of children's play and motor behavior.

Contents
1 The curricular contents of Physical Education (PE): characterization, objectives and methodological guidelines for their teaching.
2 Pedagogical criteria for selection, prioritization and adaptation of motor tasks to different levels of perceptual-motor performance.
3 Factors of pedagogical effectiveness in the teaching of physical activities.
4 The PE lesson : Structure and its pedagogical functions.
5 The management of space, materials and learning activities: typical forms of organization in the teaching of PE, the management of time, in particular the motor engagement time; control of practice; security issues.
6 Fundamental characteristics of the educational intervention at critical moments of PE lesson: moments of information, organization, monitoring and control of practice and diagnosis and prescription/ adaptation of learning activities.
7 The climate of classroom, social interactions and pedagogical interactions.
8 The playfulness and interdisciplinarity in EEFM.

Teaching Methods
a) Oral transmission of contents and discussion in groups on topics with guidance more reflexive;
b) Research and group work guided by the teacher: planning of teaching and learning situations.
c) Development of simulated and/or real situations of teaching Physical Education
d) Reflection and critical analysis of the situations experienced and the work done.
e) Heteroevaluation.

Assessment
Continuous assessment regime:
Component 1:
(60%)- In group: Planning a lesson of Physical Education for children, its dynamization in a simulated teaching context
Component 2:
(30%)- In group: Critical report on the work done.
(10%) - Individual: Hetero-evaluation of a work of another group.
The criteria used in the evaluation of the various work proposals will be discussed with the students.
The final assessment regime:
Component 1 (40%)- Planning a lesson of Physical Education for children, its dynamization in a simulated teaching context and respective self-evaluation. This work will have to be presented during the period.
This component of assessment falls under point 6. of Article 110 of RAUE.
Component 2 (60%) - Written assessment test.
The approval of the curricular unit depends on obtaining a minimum final mark of 10 points, and the student cannot have a mark inferior to 10 points in any of the components
