Learning Goals

1. To provide further advanced training through the teaching of a module course in Linguistics within the plan of studies of the 1st Cycle in Languages and Literatures, and in cooperation with the teachers of the respective cycles of study. 2. To encourage the development of communication skills as well as the presentation of scientific topics. 3. To develop the ability to understand and synthesise scientific contents to be taught, through the drawing up of justified lesson plans. 4. To develop the ability to analyse content and to articulate coherent scientific discourse, through a final critical report to submit to the teacher of the curricular unit.

The contents of this curricular unit are not systematically defined, but adapted to the topics to be taught. Therefore, contents are developed in accordance with the students? scientific areas of interest.

Teaching Methods

Applied research on the scientific topic(s) to be taught.
Bibliographical research on the topic(s) selected.
Meetings to be held with the teacher and permanent contact through the Moodle platform.
Assessment:
Submission of justified lesson plans and of a final critical report on the teaching activity carried out, which demonstrate its scientific and pedagogical contribution to the students' research work.
