The research developed is related to the influence of common agronomic practices (weed control, tillage system or crop rotation) on arbuscular endomycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and to understand how can this practices be adjusted in order to take advantage of the AMF symbioses that naturally occur in the soil (native inoculum). More recent studies are focused on developing strategies to manage indigenous AMF and their functional diversity within cropping systems for the bio-protection of cultivated plants against biotic and abiotic stresses.
