Exhibition "27 FOREVER" by Bárbara Quirino
The exhibition entitled, 27 Forever, by Bárbara Quirino, consists of a set of 9 paintings in acrylic on canvas, with the aim of paying homage to the great musical icons of the rock scene of the last century.
Her works express a strength that stems from a chromatic drift, where the palette is used in a pigmented way, making use of a register that takes us to digitalized universes, with which we have already become familiar. The result is, this way, very demonstrative of its route and plastic-chromatic horizon, which expresses, in the end, all hers contemporaneity.
Bárbara Quirino's artistic work, on the one hand, reinforces the desire to share and make known the expression acquired, in part, throughout her academic career, as a student of Visual Arts and Design at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Évora, on the other hand, she highlights her willingness to take on challenges, exhibiting her work in the Academy and revealing her facets and artistic sensibilities.
