UÉ with more vacancies for 2021/22

The University of Évora (UÉ) registers an increase in the number of vacancies for the National Competition for Access to Public Higher Education of 2021/2022. There are 36 more places available for new students.

 

The main portion goes to the new UÉ degree in Philosophy and Contemporary Culture Studies with twenty places available, followed by the Enology course with ten more places compared to the previous academic year. In addition to these, the course in Agronomy which has also seen its number of places increased (8). In contrast, the course of Fine Arts and Multimedia is the course that sees the reduction of vacancies available, with less 7 places. There are 1238 vacancies available at the University of Evora for undergraduate and master's degree courses in all scientific areas.

According to data released by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES), the total number of places to enter the public universities and polytechnics in the country in the academic year 2021/2022, is 52,242, about 2% more than the previous year. The application period for the first phase of the national competition for access to public higher education will run from August 6 to 20.
