Presentation
This UC provides basic theoretical skills for psychomotor practice, necessary for the implementation of a therapeutic project.

Contents
-The three main axes of theoretical-knowledge that underlie the know-how in psychomotricity
(i) Tone, space and time
(ii) The body scheme and the organization of self-knowledge
(iii) Body image as a system in continuous movement
-The empathic attitude, the capacity for rêverie, the affective attunement, the I-skin function and the composite image of the body as guidelines for psychomotor thinking.
-The position of the psychomotor therapist in a multidisciplinary and multi-professional team.
-The ethics of the therapeutic act.

Teaching Methods
Classes take place throughout the first half, and after working, for a 4 hours period.
In the classes are transmitted the different theoretical concepts of the course, is also intending to develop the knowledge inherent in practical intervention methodologies.

Assessment
The student assessment will be done through two processes:
- Continuous assessment: one individual and one group written works.
- Exam: a written test about the syllabus (70%) and an oral test (30%).
The student must obtain a rating ? 9.5 for each element of evaluation, in the two evaluation processes.
