To understand the crosscutting concepts inherent to the majority / minority relation and apply them in the specific historical contexts of the discipline approach. To discuss the problems within Muslim and Christian societies, at different levels of analysis: on the basis of structural models, and simultaneously the spatial and temporal contexts. To develop the capacity of critical reflection and analysis. To develop the ability to identify unanswered questions and unresolved issues in order to promote an independent and original research.

Teaching Methods
The methodologies are based on the students' work dynamic. The classes correspond to moments of discussion and supervision and inherently to transmit theoretical perspectives. The evaluation will consist on the commentary of two texts and the written and oral submission of a paper.
