Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
O1-To deepen knowledge of the program guidelines of mathematics in the middle and secondary levels of education
O2-To know fundamental aspects of the teaching of mathematical topics and transversal mathematical processes, including the use of manipulatives
O3-To know mathematical tasks appropriate for the teaching of mathematics and be able to adapt / develop different types of tasks
O4-To know the potentialities of digital technologies as resources for the learning of maths and to be able to use them effectively in teaching
O5-To know methodologies for the organization of the classroom and to perspective them in coordination with the approach of content
O6-To know models of mathematics teaching and develop the ability to perspective its implications for the learning of mathematics by the students
O7-To develop the ability to discuss challenges of mathematics teaching in the middle and secondary levels of education and to value research as a resource for professional development

Teaching Methods
Activities will be diverse, combining moments of the responsibility of the teacher and others of students' responsibility. In addition to the exhibition and promotion of discussion directed by the teacher, there will be presentations and discussions held by the students. These require personal investment but are supported by scripts and resources recommended by the teacher. The site P3M will be used, Professional Practices of Teachers of Mathematics, allowing innovative approach based on multimedia cases to many of the themes. Specific software will be explored, with students learning to use it on computers. The evaluation of students' work is based on participation (P) in classes and three other components. The working group (TG) includes presentation in class; the individual works corresponds to a final written text (RC) and a small set of requested tasks between some of the classes (TA).
Final Qualify: RC-40%; TG, 30%; TA-20%; P-10%.
