Teaching Methods

The Paideia model follows in a few moments. In theoretical classes, a model based on exposure was favored, emphasizing information economy. Conceptual maps are used. At times, critical education is adopted, involving higher-order thinking skills. In the practical classes cooperative learning is used. The objectives and context are provided, information is presented, learning teams are organized, work and study are accompanied, school work is evaluated and recognized. Individual works co-exist, either in the classroom or as an autonomous work, of deepening of the subjects and exploration of coalescent fields. The evaluation includes the elaboration of an article of systematic review of the literature, submitted to an A1 or A2 journal or with impact factor> 1, of a theme reconciled with the particular areas of interest of each student. Final classification: article (60%), oral presentation of the article (20%) and participation in (10%).
