Bachelor's Degree

Course Overview

With an innovative structure, arranged in accordance with national and international educational contexts and guidelines, thereby facilitating and encouraging student mobility within the European Universities Network, this course offers solid general and integrated training that cuts across all biological levels of organisation, from molecules to ecosystems. The different UÉ centres are strategically located close to biological (terrestrial and aquatic) systems that are studied during the course.

This flexible course includes options in technology and specialised fields, in particular the environment, natural resources, ecosystem management, human biology, health and entrepreneurship.

Theoretical training is allied with a significant experimental training component thanks to the geographical location and settings of the different University of Évora centres (Mitra Estate and the Sines Marine Science Laboratory), thereby ensuring that graduates are able to pursue further study in different fields in life sciences or immediately transition to the job market.
