Presentation

This curricular unit was designed with the aim of familiarizing students with the main developmental disorders at the cognitive, motor, sensory, behavioral and affective levels, as well as familiarizing students with the common lexicon used in this area.

Teaching Methods

In theoretical classes the teacher will present the various topics of the program through an expository teaching and presentation of examples. Laboratorial-practical classes will be dedicated to the presentation of assignments by students. They will also be dedicated to the study of different developmental disorders from a clinical point of view, that is, on how they are represented in clinical reality, through the presentation of clinical cases, being discussed relevant aspects related to different disorders.

The evaluation of the UC will be done through the continuous evaluation system, composed of 2 components: practical (two practical assignments) and theoretical (a test).
Practical assignments (mandatory practical component):
Conceptual work and clinical work
Weight in the final classification: 25% + 25%
Test
Weight in the final classification: 50%
The minimum grade in each of the evaluation elements is 8 points.
