Goal:
- Develop knowledge and enable understanding of the information to be collected, in order to issue clinical judgment that allows for diagnostic assessment.
- Plan the intervention and assessment of results in nursing, facing the person/family in palliative care and in continuity of integrated care

Skills:
- Knows Nursing Focus regarding the person in palliative care and in the integrity of care;
- Analyzes the necessary data to be able to elaborate Nursing Diagnoses;
- Selects interventions according to the diagnostic evaluation, taking into account the principles of defense of the person's freedom, human dignity and quality of life.
- Identify resources for intervention
- Demonstrates knowledge to enable patient/family to manage self-care, emotions and losses, based on knowledge and skills
- Reveals self-learning skills and uses available evidence in response to person/family centered care.

Teaching Methods

Considering the nature of the contents, the typology of theoretical classes using the expository method, and theoretical-practical classes, using group work, critical-reflective analysis; role-playing technique, analysis of clinical cases, learning based on problem solving and action maze.

The assessment will be continuous, through the analysis of clinical cases and individual proof of knowledge, resulting in an average of theoretical and theoretical-practical knowledge.
