Presentation
The seminar intends to implement critical reflection around issues raised by modernity and postmodernity, having as an elective topic the city as a theme and artistic procedure.

Familiarity with issues that make the theoretical conceptualization of the "crisis of modernity"; knowledge of research and theorizing about significant features of contemporary literature in post-modernity; understand the relationship among the different arts and constant questioning of its limits in this context.

1. The topic of urban as inscription of contemporaneity.
2. Skepticism and criticism as part of the drivers of contemporary creation, given the erosion of ontologically strong versions of the world and the crisis of utopias. Blurring between criticism and creation.
