It is intended that students:
-Know the main areas of intervention, as well as key steps to consider in sports marketing
-May to identify the product and sports marketing perspective applied to the sports, including consumer behavior
-Know the entrepreneurial process that exposes students to challenges, problems and decisions that entrepreneurs who start new businesses, have to face
-Dominate the May issue of management and sports projects
-How to identify and evaluate business opportunities, developing a business concept and marketing plan, evaluating in order to obtain the resources required and managing the growth of new activities
-Understand the role of research in marketing and entrepreneurship
-They can collect and interpret critically relevant scientific information on the topics addressed
-What acquire the ability to communicate ideas and scientific knowledge, oral and written form, organized in coherent and logical issues about the scope of this Unit

Teaching Methods

The unit is organized into lectures and tutorials. The sessions will initially be more theoretical but then necessarily participative towards the end of UC. Whenever possible practical examples would be presented in the sports area, to allow a better match to reality. The sessions are supported by PowerPoint presentations but with use of the table, the more practical issues. Lectures are plenary and based on the scientific method, emphasizing the search for information, the interpretation of experimental results and a critical and scientific rigor in students.

Evaluation:
Students may choose an evaluation by a two work (50%+50%) or a final exam. Telecommuting: Introduction of the fundamental theoretical concepts through resources available in Moodle (lessons, various texts, PowerPoint presentations, websites, etc.). Student work will be guided by specific objectives to be achieved in different contents. Work in person: The practical skills will be acquired in person.
