Sustainable Development Goals
Learning Goals
At the end of the course unit, students should:
1. Learn to transfer and adapt the research methods to a given research project: project design based on a hypothesis and the methodology focusing on data processing structure;
2. Develop the skills of reproducing/modify/create/evaluate an existing technical solution;
3. Develop project management skills (planning, operationalization, and controlling), collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

Teaching Methods
The theoretical classes are based, fundamentally, on the exposition of the program's contents and the presentation of relevant scientific works in the area. Whenever possible, examples will be emphasized, using articles, aiming to stimulate students' interest.
Practical sessions will be essential in involving students in the design of research projects to analyse sports performance, application of methodologies, and management of the developed project. Simulated situations will be created where students can plan and operationalise their projects in real sporting contexts.
The evaluation process will include the delivery and presentation of a research project where the entire process related to the design of a research project for the analysis of sports performance and presentation of results is reported: (i) final document (75%); (ii) presentation of the final document (25%).
