Learning Goals

- Develop a project by deepening technical and operational capacities in order to develop a personalized
graphical language;
- Search, reflect and experiment through the drawing demonstrating the mastery of the operating processes of
the Drawing;
- Document the creative process;
- Reflecting on the objectivity and poetics of drawing by the drawing process itself;
- Consolidate the construction of one's own visual thinking;
- Reflecting on the aesthetic, critical and ethical dimension of all artistic production, as well as the social
function of the artist as a cultural agent producing meaning.

Contents

Creation of a methodology that enables the student to acquire skills for the development of a personalized
contemporary artistic practice:
Study of the language of drawing in the context of contemporary artistic practices characterized by the
interpenetration of disciplinary boundaries, taking into consideration and the references used in a project. It is
also important to emphasize the importance of interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity of themes, as well as
the confluence of several areas of knowledge that may, eventually, inform a project.

Teaching Methods

In the NORMAL SEASON assessment students may choose one of two schemes: Continuous or Final Assessment.
The RECOURSE, SPECIAL and EXTRAORDINARY assessments are governed by the Final Evaluation scheme.

1. CONTINUOUS EVALUATION SCHEME COMPONENTS
a. Class participation: 20%;
b. Work developed during the period with the aid of the teacher, which must be submitted, at least, to a periodic evaluation with public disclosure of the classifications: 40%;
c. Presentation and defense of the work developed during the classes, which occurs during the "Regular Season Evaluations": 40%.

The student's final grade, which will appear on the Normal Season student’s exams list, is the sum of a), b) and c).

2. FINAL EVALUATION SCHEME COMPONENTS
a. Work developed during the period with the teacher's aid: 40%;
b. Examination based on the contents taught: 60%.
