Information about the written exams:
The exams will be written and taken online, through the Moodle Platform, which you can access via the link: https://provas.uevora.pt/
To take the exams, you must provide the following:
- computer or compatible device with an internet connection
- scanning system (digital camera or scanner) for written answers
Before (preferably by the day before) the date/time of the exam(s), you must:
- Access the electronic platform through a web browser with the user data sent to you by email and change your password. The message sent to you is titled ‘Qualification Exams: New User Account’ (please note that the username and new password you enter will be your login details for taking the exam(s));
- Check the ‘my subjects’ list to see if the exam(s) you wish to take are listed.
On the start date/time of each exam, you must access the platform at https://provas.uevora.pt with the above details, click on the links corresponding to the exam title and start the exam.
Each exam can be one of two types:
- online response - answers are given using the platform's tools
- mixed response - requires the submission of documentation in the response (file, photo or other). In this case, you must provide the technical means to submit your answers in the indicated locations and with the indicated characteristics.
If you wish, you can also try out sample tests in the preparation area available at https://provas.uevora.pt/course/view.php?id=60 . This activity is optional and serves only to familiarise yourself with how the platform works.
Please also note the following:
If you obtain a positive classification in the written test, you will be notified for an interview to validate your identity and classification, via Zoom, scheduled according to the calendar. The link to access Zoom and the interview schedule for each candidate will be available on Moodle, https://provas.uevora.pt /, in the Test area in which you are registered.
Under the terms of the regulations:
Failure to attend the test or interview may allow for a second opportunity to take the respective test or interview, upon request accompanied by supporting documentation, to be made through SIIUE, using the exam registration credentials, within a maximum of five working days after the exam date. The President of the Jury is responsible for approving or rejecting the request and schedule a date, in the event of approval.
If you wish to request a review of the exam result, this process is done exclusively through SIIUE, using your exam application credentials. You must:
- begin by requesting a photocopy of the assessment elements, within a maximum of three consecutive days after the release of the guidelines on the UÉ portal.
- if you decide to proceed with the request for re-evaluation of the tests, you must, within six consecutive days after the release of the guidelines, request the re-evaluation of the test, duly justified, upon payment of the respective fees.
The President of the Jury is responsible for recording the decision on the re-evaluation in SIIUE, and the response will be sent to the email address used in the application.
