Teaching Methods
Pedagogical methodologies privilege the active participation of students in the co-construction of knowledge, through diversified strategies, such as debate, analysis of reported or experienced situations, reflection and reasoned criticism, based on data and examples of research carried out in this area, in moments of individual work and collaborative work. Different resources (documents, videos, direct observation) are mobilized to support learning situations and the teaching team provides support instruments, facilitators of autonomy and self-regulation of learning, namely, learning guides and assessment rubrics. It is foreseen the participation of specialists in certain themes and visits to different formal and non-formal education environments that contribute to the diversification of learning experiences and a greater enrichment of training.
Assessment
The assessment follows the UÉ assessment regime, which provides for two modalities.
Continuous assessment
Assessment is integrated into teaching and learning, playing a regulatory role. It takes place throughout the semester, continuously, by carrying out tasks of a different nature, individual and in groups, on each of the topics covered. All tasks are evaluated and graded based on evaluation criteria previously defined with the students.
The final classification (FC) will be obtained from the evaluation of the portfolio that includes various tasks (T) and a reflection (R) on the learning carried out in the curricular unit.
Portfolio = 70% T + 30% R
FC= 100% Portfolio
Final assessment
Students who are unable to carry out the continuous assessment take a written test (WT), whose classification will be the final classification of the UC
FC = 100% WT
