Teaching Methods
Pedagogical methodologies focus on the active participation of students, based on tasks to be developed in the classroom, in the co-construction of knowledge, through diversified strategies such as debate, analysis of situations reported or experienced, reflection and sustained criticism, in moments of individual and collaborative work. Different resources (documents, videos, technological applications) are used to support learning experiences - based on research, projects, problems. The teaching, assessment and learning process has the function of regulation, supported by instruments that facilitate autonomy and self-regulation of learning (learning guides and assessment rubrics).
Assessment
The assessment follows the RAUE, which provides two modalities.
Continuous assessment
As the classes are held exclusively on a presential regime, attendance (A) is taken into account. However, assessment takes place throughout the semester, is integrated into teaching and learning and plays a regulatory role. It will be carried out on the basis of tasks, to be carried out in and in groups, which will have a formative and/or summative function, at least three of which (TG) will be graded. There will also be an individual task (IT), of an integrative and scientific-didactic nature, on a topic chosen by the students, subject to presentation and discussion in class. All tasks are assessed on the basis of criteria previously defined and shared with the students.
Final Grade = A (10%) + 55% (TG) + 35% (TI)
Final assessment
When students are unable to complete continuous assessment, they take an Exam (E) and an Task (T).
Final Grade = 60% (E) + 40% (T)
