Contents
1 Introduction to Bioethics. The relations between Ethics, Moral and Bioethics. Free will as condition of
possibility of any Bioethics project. Introduction to a History of Ethics. From Biology to Philosophy: the
limits between animal and human. Bioethics and Epistemology.
2 Bioethics, Deontology and Professional Activities: Teaching, Researching, Paramedical Activities.
3 Some Contemporary Bioethical Problems: abortion, cloning, euthanasia, animal rights.

Teaching Methods
Meetings will consist of lectures by the instructor and/or presentations by students followed by
discussion. Students will be required to keep abreast of reading assignments and to come to class
prepared to discuss the reading.
