Module 1 - Basic concepts. Information Society and Knowledge Society.
Module 2 - Strategy, IS/ICT and Management Model.
Module 3 - Activities of Management of Information Systems.
Module 4 - New developments on Information Systems.
Module 5 – Benefits Management on Investments on IS/IT.

Teaching Methods

There are foreseen 22 hours of classroom sessions, which combine the format of theoretical sessions, seminars or lectures given by expert speakers in the area, with the analysis and discussion of case studies on the subject of Information Systems.
The documentation supporting the lecturing of the course is available on the platform of e-learning of the University of Évora.
The assessment in this course is done by carrying out individual work, namely a theoretical essay in the field of information systems, possibly to be published as working paper.
