Teaching Methods

The teaching and learning process for this course includes sessions with the teacher's exposition, group work, personal tutoring sessions, and evaluation. In total, this process encompasses fifteen sessions of theoretical-practical work, in classes lasting 90 minutes each. Despite the predominantly theoretical nature of this course, group work is proposed, particularly through the reading of thematic bibliography and subsequent oral and written presentation.

Tutorial-type guidance sessions involve individual or group sessions, previously scheduled with the teacher, to clarify doubts related to the content taught, study guidance, or other needs expressed by the students.

Assessment

a) The continuous assessment includes the following evaluation assessments:
1. Completion of a term exam – individual assessment (obtaining a grade lower than 8 points in the term exam leads the student directly to the final evaluation regime). The term exam accounts for 50% of the final continuous assessment grade.
2. Group work on topics from the Program, with both oral and written presentations. This work accounts for 50% of the final continuous assessment grade.
b) The final evaluation consists of a written exam.
