Registration

Registration in Course Units is the act to be carried out annually, online at SIIUE, which gives the student the right to attend classes and to be assessed in the Course Units in which he / she enrolled. Masters and PhD students who are preparing their dissertation, internship report, project or thesis, need to register annually in this Course.

A student who is not enrolled in a Course Unit is prevented from attending classes or being assessed if:• the non-enrollment is the student's responsibility; and• after the teacher's warning, the student does not regularize the situation.

HOW TO PROCEED

The student must register annually online at SIIUE, within the deadlines established in the Academic Procedures Calendar, in mandatory curricular units, alternative mandatory units and optional curricular units, which he intends to attend in both semesters, according to what is established in the course study plan, available on the student profile at SIIUE.
Failure to enroll in an academic year, within the deadlines established in the Academic Procedures Calendar, implicates cancellation of enrollment and consequente loss of commitment to UÉ.

When enrolling in a course, registration in mandatory curricular units is automatic and you can only enroll up to a maximum of 60 ECTS (unless you enroll in extra-curricular UC or have obtained creditation, in which case you can enroll up to maximum to 36 ECTS per semester). If the course study plan includes optional and/or alternative mandatory curricular units, you must register with SIIUE

In subsequent years, registration can be made up to 36 ECTS per semester, subject to regestration in UC of previous academic years in which the student has not obtained approval and provided that it does not exceed 36 ECTS in any of the semesters.

Students in the 2nd and 3rd cycle, with more than one registration, will be allowed to register in the Thesis or D/TP/RE course, as long as the registrations in the remaining courses do not exceed 30 ECTS, upon payment of extra ECTS.

The maximum of 36 ECTS per semester counts, whether the registration in course UC in which the student is enrolled or in UC for grade improvement or in recovery UC or in extracurricular UC.

For enrollment in Curricular Units, the student will have to pay the amount of the annual tuition defined  in the dean's order .
