Teaching Methods
Division of students into small groups (6-8 students). Participation in the daily and specific activities of the farm. Supervision made by stockpersons of the farm, MIMV teachers and clinicians. Students will be encouraged to actively participate in all situations and, whenever possible, to perform the tasks.
Realization of 4 seminars exposing other productive realities.
Evaluation through 3 practical/oral tests to demonstrate knowledge and skills. Depending on the situation, students should be able to describe/explain, but also to perform specific procedures, as recorded in a LogBook. Evaluation preferably continuous throughout the year, being possible to make a single evaluation in a final exam. Failure to comply with the rules and rules of operation of the UC, namely attendance, timekeeping, compliance with the procedural rules of the UC may lead to a penalty of 10% in the final grade.
