Dialogues between Philosophy and Psychology: some problems and themes
1.Emotions and affection/affectivity. Transdisciplinary perspectives of Emotions. Psychological processes in Emotions.
2. Psychological perspectives on well-being. Eudaimonic and Hedonic perspectives. Psychological well-being and Subjective weel-being
3. Professional care and Psychotherapy. Philosophical traditions and foundations in the practice of contemporary psychotherapies. The Psychotherapy Integration movement.
4. Mind-Body-Brain. Sleep and dreams. Memory.

Teaching Methods
Texts reading, discussion and analysis of clinical cases and empirical experiences, are intended to promote the dialogue and questioning of students on themes of Philosophy and Psychology, within the scope of this optional curricular unit, that are relevant to the work of students who choose it.
Sessions held by guest lecturers or participation in scientific meetings may be included.
The assessment will take into account: a) attendance and active participation, in person or online depending on the situation (25%); b) the development of a brief essay on a relevant issue within the curricular unit, for the ongoing PhD research work of each student (50%) and; c) its presentation and discussion in the group/class (25%) at an intermediate point in its development process.
