Contents
I - theoretical module (8h)
- Anatomy and physiology of the peritoneum and peritoneal membrane (molecule transport mechanisms and dialytic principles involved in peritoneal dialysis); Assessment and intervention for people with kidney failure undergoing peritoneal dialysis; Empowerment for self-care management.
II - Theoretical-practical modules (8h)
- Discussion of clinical cases; interaction and communication training (4TP)
- Simulation training - Tenckhoff catheter and extender management; dialysis therapy management; risk management. (4PL)
