When finishing the course students should be spayed to collect and interpret critically relevant
scientific information on the topics discussed.

Teaching Methods
The unit is organized into lectures and tutorials according to the regulation school of the University of Évora.
Although it is a course where the theoretical aspects have much relevance try to present practical examples that allow a better understanding of matter. The sessions are supported by PowerPoint presentations but with use of the table for more practical issues.
Several of supporting documentation will be available on Moodle (lessons,various texts, PowerPoint presentations, websites, etc) .
