Teaching Methods

In the context of this course it is intended that the teaching give particular emphasis to the goals and capabilities that promote intellectual autonomy of the student, ability to reflect, to solve problems, to communicate, to work in a team, to lead, to innovate and to adapt to change. It is possible to provide for the discussion with the students in order to find a way to implement teaching methodologies and more active and cooperative learning. The objective is to develop a learning that encourages reflection and that values the cognitive processes and the interpersonal nature, advocating the acquisition of concepts, problem solving, research and practical work.
In the laboratory classes is possible to simulate clinical practice environments, with accompanying individual students. In the theoretical component we predict two periods of periodic evaluation, with a minimum grade of 8 points and continuous assessment in laboratory practice, with a minimum grade of 9.5.
