This curricular unit aims to teach students how to deal with the complexity inherent in archaeological archaeological interventions in urban areas.

1. The students will be able to identify the main types of constructions.
2. The aim is for students to acquire the general concepts about construction materials, in a dynamic perspective, in that the occurrence of such materials translates construction timelines.

Teaching Methods
Practical classes with exposure of the main topics under discussion. Research on ancient texts. Theoretical practices, with visits to interventions that are taking place in the city.
The evaluation will be based on two individual to analyze, critically, methodologies and results (50% + 50%). The final examen is made in the form of a final exam and can be made in any of the exam periods provided.
