To understand the theoretical background of Expressive Therapies , namely the role of Communication
and Expression in different human contexts, clinical and group relationships;
-To know some conceptual and methodological aspects from practice on the T. E. and specifically in
Music-therapy, Dance-therapy, Drama-therapy and Art-therapy;
-To demonstrate sensibility to the use of these mediators as facilitators of the emotional expression and
interpersonal relationship;
-To demonstrate capacity and personal development using these mediators;
-To know processes and programs that emphasize the expressive-arts as therapeutic element;
-To identify necessities and choose adequate methodologies;
-To know some of basic techniques that can be used by psychomotor therapists in different contexts , on a
preventive perspective, development or therapy;
-To know and to demonstrate sensitivity for the ethical and deontological dimensions of the practical ones
in the scope of E.T.

Teaching Methods
Theoretical-practical classesIn each session there is a first expositive moment of theoretical contents
with audio-visual resources, work on a small groups, After that some of the basic techniques of Expressive
Therapies will be lived deeply (through personal and interactive participation) and later will be reflecting
individually and in group
Tutorial orientation- The pupil will also be guide in its autonomous work of bibliographical research
with audio-visual resources, work on a small groups, After that some of the basic techniques of Expressive

Assessment
Continuous Assessment:
1. Group project presentation on a topic within the scope of the course (20%)
2. Midterm exam (30%)
3. Facilitation of a session (10%)
4. Individual portfolio ? record of experiences in the expressive workshops (30%)
5. Active participation in (10%)
Examination Assessment:
- A written test about all contents course;
- Daily an individual one with the register of some experiences originating from expression ateliers
