Teaching Methods

In line with UÉ's Pedagogical Policy, the UC methodologies, supported by a socioconstructivist approach, require the active participation of students in the co-construction of knowledge. Diverse strategies are privileged, such as flipped learning and project-based learning, as well as the sharing and discussion of concepts in individual and collaborative work. Students will have the opportunity to give presentations, analyze relevant literature, watch videos, apply knowledge in practical exercises, and reflect on their learning. The use of LMS environments will help extend and complement the work developed in the classroom. The participation of specialists is also planned to deepen specific topics and introduce students to research in the field. Active participation is essential for success in the UC, requiring special attention to attendance (cf. Article 105 of the RAUE).

Assessment

I. Continuous Assessment System
Assessment takes place throughout the entire teaching period on a continuous basis, through the completion of various tasks, both individually and in groups. The final grade will be determined based on the following components:
A. Learning Checkpoint (Quiz) ? 30%
B. Group Work (Activity Proposal with Technologies) ? 40%
C. Participation and Engagement (Class Flashback) ? 30%

II. Final Assessment System
The assessment consists of a written exam, to be conducted during the evaluation period defined in the academic calendar. The grade obtained in the written exam will account for 100% of the final grade.
