Teaching Methods
Through the teaching of this CU, the different competences of the mother tongue are integrated with another type of competence, the one required for reading another type of text: the literary text. This integration is promoted by the participatory and active approaches, promoted by the teaching team, by the promotion of activities promoted by invited experts and by the study visits provided to students. In all sessions, students are requested to participate in the activities developed, considering them as participants in the knowledge produced. We therefore foresee brief theoretical expositions, supported by dialogue and student contributions; reading of documents and texts, followed by discussion, guided by reading lines; individual and/or group works, based on the reaction to guest lectures or study visits; sharing reading and writing experiences.
The recommended teaching and learning methodologies seek to meet and be aligned with the course's pedagogical model.

Assessment
The assessment in this CU naturally takes into account the evaluation regime of the University of Évora, which is divided into a continuous evaluation regime and a final evaluation regime.
In the continuous assessment regime, one of the final products for evaluation is the construction of a portfolio, where students will gather the work carried out and record their reflections on some interventions, either by teachers, invited experts or study visits. The other final product consists of a critical reflection on a scientific article related to the contents of this CU.
Portfolio - 40%
Reflection on the article 50%
Attendance and participation - 10%
(Final Classification= (40+50+10)/100
In the final assessment regime, students will take a written test.
Written test - 100%
