1. To understand the importance of the role and status attributable to Psychological Assessment (PA) in the main contexts of its exercise, as well as its historical-conceptual framework.
2. To understand the current conception of PA as a multifaceted process of scientific analysis of human behavior in the different contexts of psychological practice.
3. To develop the critical sense regarding the models and quantitative and qualitative procedures to be used in PA, considering different development stages, contexts and problems.
4. To know and apply different methods of psychological evaluation, as well as the principles behind its construction.
5. To frame psychological evaluation in the ethical and deontological principles that govern the profession of psychologist.
6. To develop sensitivity regarding the importance of preparing the PE Report, recognizing the need to complement the initial training in PE.

Teaching Methods
Combination of expository techniques (theoretical classes) with elaboration techniques (practical classes and autonomous work) and thematic oriented debates. A visit to an organization is planned, where a psychologist will explain his practices of psychological assessment, namely, used methods, how he uses them, and how results are reported; observation and manipulation of psychological assessment instruments and reports.
Evaluation:
Continuous evaluation: written test (40%) + practical work (group), written, with oral presentation, consisting of an interview script or construction of an observation grid, its application and reporting of results (40%) + group activities performed in practical classes (20%)

Final evaluation: final exam (40%) + practical work (group), as described to continuous evaluation (40%) + group activities performed in practical classes (20%)
Mandatory attendance in 75% of classes (T and P), without prejudice to the provisions of the RAUÉ on special frequency regimes
