It enables a global understanding of the theoretical paradigms on which CBT practice is based, and contributes to the development and training of assessment and intervention skills in this area.

3.1 Explanatory models and therapeutic intervention: Articulating case formulation and therapeutic protocol

4. Description and comprehensive analysis of some of the most common clinical situations according to the cognitive-behavioral models (e.g. Anxiety disorders, Depressive disorders)

Teaching Methods

The syllabus will be addressed in theoretical and theoretical/practical classes. The teaching methodologies are expositive, interrogative and active (e.g. research, communication and discussion, design of an intervention plan).

The continuous evaluation system implies two components:
a) Individual exercises throughout the semester: rational proposal; 3 conceptualizations and intervention plans (60% of the final grade)
b) A group work about strategic technical cognitive behavioural interventions with a written support to be presented to the (40% of the final grade).
The final evaluation system implies a written test (100% of the final grade) with two parts, a case formulation and a part focused in strategic and technical cognitive behavioural interventions.
