Teaching Methods

The classes will be divided into theoretical lessons, practical sessions, open lectures, and independent study. The theoretical classes will focus on exposition, encouraging participation and the development of critical thinking. We will use clinical case studies to connect theory with practice. The practical sessions will involve studying research articles in psychoanalysis and watching videos of psychoanalytic therapy sessions. This will promote discussion and encourage further research, linking theory with real-life cases. We will also invite experts in the field to give open lectures, providing students with a more direct insight into theoretical developments and research. Additionally, students will be expected to conduct independent research and prepare articles for presentation in class.

The assessment aims to verify the development of analytical thinking skills and the understanding of different psychoanalytic perspectives on mental models and their application in clinical practice and research.
