To enable students with training on the use of Applied Geology tools for understanding and solving environmental problems, for the analysis of natural risks, and for the role of Geology in spatial planning.

Teaching Methods
Classroom work: The syllabus will be mainly taught in practical/theoretical lectures and under tutorial advisement from the lecturer (60 hours).
Independent work: students are to conduct, either individually or as groups, practical works on the contents taught at the classroom lectures, requesting when necessary the supervision of the lecturer and presenting and discussing the work developed in joint sessions with all the (60 hours).
The evaluation will include: (i) Continuous evaluation, depending on the result that the student will obtain in practical, individual, and group work, its presentation, and discussion (40%) and one frequency (60%); or (ii) Final Exam.
