Learning Goals

- Know the basic elements of visual language (point, line, colour and texture). Creative exploration of the visual language basic elements
- Contact and manipulate various expressive techniques of the visual normally used in recreational and artistic activities with children.
- Know the phases and stages of child graphic development.
- Be aware of the theories and contemporary art-education teaching methodologies applied to childhood activities, including digital technologies.

1 - The basic elements of visual language (point, line, color, texture, volume);
2 - Basic techniques of artistic expression;
3 - Characterization of the steps of children graphic-expressive development;
4 ? Contemporary theories and methodologies of visual art education;
5 - Digital technologies for support creativity (creating stop motion digital animation and designing an individual digital portfolio of learning);
6 - Bibliographies and Web sources for self-education and research foundation project.

Teaching Methods

Based on the methodology of studio art work, by performing concrete artifacts, and / or simulating potential art education scenarios.
Attendance is required to 85% on the number of sessions effectively given.
The final score is the sum (a formula with specific weights of various components) of the index of presence and the work contained in the individual digital portfolio.
