Teaching Methods
During a semester, students will have a theoretical and practical that lasts one hundred
and twenty minutes and a practical that lasts sixty minutes in a weekly basis. Thirty
hours of theoretical classes and fifteen hours of practical classes are expected to be lectured.
The theoretical and practical classes aim to transmit all the contents of the UC syllabus,
except those referring to the experience of techniques and the teaching of postural
reeducation sessions, which will be approached on the practical classes.
The Moodle platform will be used to share information, including the program, operating
standards, assessment dates, and scientific articles, among others. The use of the Moodle
platform is also an effective and fast way of communication between teacher and student (s)
and between students.
Continuous assessment includes the following time points:
1. Theoretical evaluation, through an exam.
2. Theoretical and practical evaluation, concerning the resolution of worksheets and the
planning and teaching a session of postural reeducation with a technique at the students
choice.
The final assessment includes a theoretical evaluation, through an exam and a practical
evaluation. To successfully complete the UC, all students should have at least 9.5 points in
each of the evaluation moments, as well as follow the operating standards of the schools
policy, including the attendance of 75% of the lectured classes.
