In global terms a better understanding of impact of forest fires on aquatic ecosystems will permit the implementation of management practices on streams after forest fires

To compair aquatic communities (Diatoms, Macrophytes, benthic macroinvertebrates and fishes) of sites with of different intensities of forest fires with not affected sites
to develop assessment mythologies to assess impact of forest fires on ecological quality of streams
