Buenas Práticad de inclusíon de menores com otras capacidaded a través del Arte

The project focuses on promoting the inclusion and equal opportunities of people with other abilities, namely their participation and development of artistic skills in mixed dance, theatre and music activities (choirs) in public schools in 6 European countries (companies made up of children with and without special needs) and the creation of (companies made up of minors with and without special needs), as well as the creation of shows to show the general public (in cultural venues in the participating cities) that through Art we are all equal.

More specifically, we will work with people who, in the educational context, may find themselves in situations of inequality as a result of a non-inclusive educational or pedagogical style.

In Évora, the project is being carried out at the Manuel Ferreira Patrício School Group with various groups of children and young people who attend the main school and the Cruz da Picada primary school, as well as artists who carry out inclusive artistic activities on a weekly basis.

The aim is to produce public performances in various locations around the city as a way of raising awareness of the urgency of inclusion in society and the good artistic results achieved.
