Catarina Gonçalves is an invited assistant at the Department of Sports and Health at the University of Évora (Portugal) and researcher at the Comprehensive Health Research Center (CHRC). She has a Master's Degree in Exercise and Health at the University of Évora (Portugal) in 2015 and is currently finishing her PhD in Human Motricity at the University of Évora (Portugal), where she is studying the world issue of cardiovascular diseases. This experience led her to win a grant funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) with a project in Cardiac Rehabilitation and later to win an honourable mention in Sports Medicine by the Olympic Committee of Portugal and the Millennium BCP Foundation. She has some scientific articles already written in this area and other areas of Exercise and Health as well.
