Learning Goals

• Consolidate and develop the general competencies for the specialist nurse and the specific competencies for the nurse specialized in family health nursing already acquired throughout the cycle of studies;
• Develop specific competencies for the nurse specialized in family health nursing that can be developed in a clinical context (Providing care to the family, recognizing it as a care unit and stimulating the significant participation of its members in all phases of the process; intervening effectively in complex family situations; promoting family training)
• Develop, based on the Project Methodology, a family intervention project,, continuing the work performed in the previous Internship;
• Prepare the report that meets the requirements for public evidence
• Develop a critical analysis of the process of developing competencies in family health nursing.

Contents

The programmatic contents were selected and organized in order to meet the objectives and their expected results taking into account the competencies profile of the nurse specialized in family health nursing (Regulation No. 428/2018, DR, 2nd series No. 135 of July 16, 2018 ).

The total hours of the Curricular Unit include 160 hours for reporting.

Teaching Methods

Methodologies that stimulate the individual and professional development of the student, with guidance in the work sessions and tutorial guidance, by the teacher and the mentors (specialist nurses in the area, not existing may be a specialist in Community Nursing) in the contexts of clinical practice (Family Health Unit or Personalized Health Care Unit), in a process of continuous articulation between all stakeholders.
Tutorial guidance sessions allow the discussion of the project to be developed and will contribute to the achievement of the work to be done and writing of the Final Report.
The final evaluation results from the weighted average of the following evaluation elements:
A. Clinical Component: 50% (35% teacher and clinical supervisor + 15% student)
B. Report Component: 50% (35% teacher and clinical advisor + 15% student)
Elements A and B must each have a minimum grade of 10;
The CU will only be concluded after the public discussion of the report.
