Privileging an approach to educational policy as a collective construction of actors in interaction, the botton-up dynamics of modes of pedagogical organization and regulation as negotiation processes and compromise between the various institutional agents and actors, at the end of the unit the student should be able to:
- To problematize the processes of production, dissemination and appropriation of knowledge and how they structure the formulation and regulation of educational policies at different scales and contexts;
- Evaluate the effects of curricular, pedagogical and organizational dynamics on school performance, infer of its adequacy and effectiveness and test new solutions based on contextualized knowledge.

1. Political, organizational and professional conditions for promoting school success: synthesis essays
2. Curricular and pedagogical organization of the school: curricular and organizational flexibility; models of student and teacher organization and school time.
3. Definition of strategies and development of evidence-based school practices
4. The as unit of analysis - compositional structure, pedagogical dynamics and performance

Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies use strategies to provide thematic documents and interpretive exposition, involving and challenging students in the analysis of scenarios from texts, documents, videographic supports and to different working modalities such as research, interactive exhibition, group discussions, case studies, analysis and presentation of comments, performance of activities in or outside of it related to the contents covered. The evaluation is done in 2 moments: in the first moment the students will make a presentation in class, in a group, and in a second an individual essay. The first moment corresponds to 20% of the final mark, while the second corresponds to 70%, the remaining 10% resulting from participation in classes.
